With an overall feel and look that is well balanced; the artist managed to apply textures and color tints at the right spots to let the subject stand out where needed. A closer look at the details in used stock tells us it's not different from the general combined picture; as it's indeed the highlighted areas that shape up the atmosphere. Maybe the central space where the house and the treeline meet is missing a bit of depth -one could technically mention it's lacking a bit of dimension, dynamics- but this is not what the artist was after to emphasise in my opinion, on the contrary perhaps.
Thus I maintain; this picture comes out strong and nicely sticky to communicate in atmosphere with the giant moon lighting the textured sky and contrasting the viewer's side of the desolated house. Also mind the landscape background stock, with the detailed red-lit spots in a painted look; a neat style that continues on to the ladder.

Creepy! :#1:

The funniest thing is that my first thought was: "there's no way one could build a house on a tree in reality, it wouldn't hold it".. It's only been one week, and the School of Architecture has already given me a good brainwash!

Other than that, I love the texture and the huge moon; the flying birds add more motion and vitality to the picture! Nice palette as well!

Incredible as always chix0r :)

Your use of texture is truly amazing.
The top of this piece is very surreal and endlessly awe inspiring, then it gradually moves back to reality the further down the tree we go.

I also like the title, though technically this isn't a solar, nor lunar eclipse, it's very refreshing considering many other artists would've simply named this 'Treehouse' or something to that effect.

I love your work chix0r, keep it up, oh who am I kidding, of course you will. :P

Great image! The suspension of belief and the laws of Gravity are REALLY well achieved! You have created a tension and drama with your juxtaposisition of images and your use of a wonderful. restricted palette! Brilliant work! Cheers!
