Inspired by the stock texture which I found which read "It's not the tree that forsakes the flower, the flower forsakes the tree".

-- Be kind as I was kind to you...see my new art "Ich war blind, aber jetzt kann ich sehen." ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ It's very pretty how the "lost" look in her eyes are further intensified by all the vivid decorations around her. Makes her even more doll-like and hence representative of a "flower"

I think you've achieved something interesting here. I love the position of the butterflies. At first I didn't notice the blue one on the hand but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's nice that you've created this in a way that there is plenty to explore in the piece (intentionally or otherwise, it doesn't really matter), so it becomes somewhat of a treasure hunt for the viewer.
The one thing I'm not sure about is the text going through the girls face. I'd be very tempted to remove out the text "inside" the face (or anywhere it's showing through the girl) to make it seem more like the text is actually behind her. I just find the text a little distracting, particularly the text going through the forehead! Obviously, I can't tell what it would be like so maybe it wouldn't work, anyway. That's just what I see from a viewers point-of-view.
Strangely enough, my favourite parts are the flowers, dashed lines and swirly bits (for lack of a better word). They have a very watercolour-over-wax look to them... which adds again to the whole treasure hunt feeling this piece has.
Lovely piece, but then, we wouldn't expect anything less!
