Valentines Day - think about it. It's the time of year where everywhere you look, things are sugar coated in pink icing and you can't get rid of the love hearts no matter how much ink you use. Tired of those sickly valentines mushing and gushing all over the place? Well we are too! And, we want you to show us your designs for Anti-Valentines Day.

Roses are red, violets are blue, what you make for this contest, is up to you! It might be a postcard that you'd love to send to the Prom Queen who always ignored you, or a poster to put on your ex husband's garage wall, reminding him of just how good you look now!



All entries must be submitted in accordance with dA's submission policy ( that means, no ripped, or stolen work!)
You must note either $chix0r or $spinegrinder with your entries, with 'anti valentines contest' as the subject.
Maximum of 3 entries per deviant.
Entries must be new deviations, and clearly be regarding the anti-valentines theme. We want you to be as emotastic as you can!

I regularly feature digital art as Daily Deviations. Every day I get a crazy amount of notes suggesting work to me, which I always take time to check out. So, if you suggest something to me, which you find is featured as a Daily Deviation, yet you don't see your name along side it as being the person who suggested it, please try to understand that this may be for numerous reasons. The main one being that you might be one of many who suggested it.

I find it really dissapointing when people get upset over the fact that they are not the one 'selected' to suggest a particular daily deviation. You don't get selected to suggest anything, if you note me and I think it's worthy of a DD, and nobody else has suggested it before you, you will be mentioned as the person who suggested it.

Whining about you never being 'picked' as a suggestor, is one step away from suggesting your own work for a DD. Think about it.
